About the Event
In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Empire Windrush, which brought the single largest number of Caribbean migrants to the UK in June 1948, you are invited to join Medway Culture Club for a one-off Wonder of Windrush Exhibition!
In collaboration with North Kent Caribbean Network, this unique, immersive Windrush Exhibition will showcase a traditional, historical household set-up with authentic vinyl tracks spun by DJ Mikey Ragga, memorabilia and art of the period, stories of notable Kent-based Windrush patrons and of course the offer of Caribbean cuisine brought to you Jerk Cafe Caribbean restaurant.
