On Saturday 2nd October Medway Culture Club will be delivering an interactive session with Kent-based, highly accomplished Children’s author Tolá Okogwu. Tolá has worked with the Medway Culture Club teachers to design a fun and fictitious session which includes storytelling, art & design, creative thinking and writing and also touches on the journey from student, to blogger, to author.
Tailored for 5–16-year-olds, there are limited spaces and this session bookings are made on a first come, first served basis, until Wednesday 29th September.
To finish, they will be served a hot Caribbean lunch from local food vendor, Jerk Cafe.
How to book: The two-and-a-half-hour-long classes are charged at £8 per child.
This workshop will take place at Woodlands Youth Centre, Woodlands Road, Gillingham, ME7 2BX.
