Meet Ebanie, she’s our very own musical maestro, Teacher and Club Secretary.
Professional background: Currently she’s a UKS2 Lead and English Writing Lead with over 10 years experience in various roles. Her first five years were as a secondary music teacher before moving to primary.
“I am passionate about helping young people to learn more about themselves and develop in confidence. @medwayculture will help support all young people in this.”
Ebanie has designed and delivered our exciting “Trailblazers” session ft local pioneer Asquith Xavier and paralympian Dame Tanni Grey Thompson and our lesson on Mary Seacole.
A strong professional with a Masters focused in Transformational Leadership from Canterbury Christ Church University, Ebanie is an inspiring music graduate who studied at Kingston and completed her PGCE at Middlesex University.
An experienced class teacher with a demonstrated successful history of working in the primary, secondary and sixth form education sector. Ebanie enjoys developing positive relationships with students and promoting and maintaining student attainment whilst encouraging independent learning.
She has continued to successfully leads and promotes diversity within schools, volunteering with youth organisations and also supported young people affected by HIV to create an ‘Urban’ musical.
