In this interactive session Medway Culture Club will welcome Jeremy Clarke, Education Officer at the Guildhall Museum, Rochester.
Together we will step back in time to learn about multicultural Roman Britain including Septimius Severus, the first Roman Emporer of African origin, who settled in Britain.
There will be a chance to wear armour, handle weapons and 2,000 year old objects! To finish, we will serve an Italian inspired lunch from a local restaurant.
Tailored for 5–16-year-olds, there are limited spaces and this session bookings are made on a first come, first served basis, until Thursday 3rd February, 8pm.
How to book: The two-and-a-half-hour-long classes are charged at £8 per child.
This workshop will take place at Woodlands Youth Centre, Woodlands Road, Gillingham, ME7 2BX.
